Janet Hamilton has cared for and worked with animals most of her life. In the 1990's she was the Customer Relations Manager for one of the top Humane Societies, The Marin Humane Society. She supervised the Adoption and Customer Care Departments overseeing the care and handling of thousands of animals each year from rabbits & hamsters to dogs & cats to snakes & birds to barnyard pets helping the lost, abandoned and least fortunate find their way back home or to loving forever homes.
Janet Hamilton's love of horses shows in her gentle, intuitive, compassionate way of handling and caring for them. She was trained in Classical Dressage, Eventing, and Stadium Jumping by International Instructors. Now, she is happy and content being on the ground caring for horses in her pet sitting business.
Janet has also owned and cared for parrots (an African Grey named Frankie), two Golden Retrievers (Melanie & Sandy), German Shepherds ( A rescue adopted from Hurricane Katrina), Alpine Goats raised from two-day old kids, many adored kitties, barnyard animals, and she raised baby chicks of various unique breeds for laying hens and pampered pets. Today, Janet is happy caring for her Client's Pets, Horses, and Barnyard Flock by visiting in the morning, during the day and evening or staying overnight at their homes, farms, or ranches in Sonoma County caring compassionately for their animal families.
Janet is blessed doing what she loves everyday in the beautiful Sonoma Valley. Sonoma County, her home for the last thirty-five years.
